(Gainesville, GA – August 2017) – The Georgia Motorcycle Safety Program, a part of the Georgia Department of Driver Services, is offering Mobile Motorcycle License Testing (RST) at the Hall County “Show & Shine”. The event will be held at Hall County Sheriff’s Office in Gainesville, Georgia on Saturday, August 19, 2017. The Hall County Sheriff’s Office is teaming up with Georgia Department of Driver Services and community safety partners for a fun family event that will offer a 50/50 drawing, Rollover Crash Simulator, concessions, bounce houses and more. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Hall County Sheriff’s Office Christmas Bicycle Program.

The RST program gives Georgia motorcycle permit holders the opportunity to obtain their Georgia Class M (motorcycle) license. If the rider successfully passes the skills evaluation, they receive a 90-day license waiver to bring to their nearest DDS Customer Service Center to obtain their motorcycle license.
